Why regular WordPress maintenance matters
WordPress websites rely on the WordPress core, themes and plugins working together. As these components are updated over time, compatibility problems can occur if a website is left without regular maintenance.
Keeping WordPress, themes and plugins up to date helps reduce compatibility issues and ensures that the website continues to work with current software versions. Regular checks also make it easier to identify problems before they develop into larger website issues.
For business websites and WooCommerce stores, this is particularly important because even a small technical problem can affect contact forms, checkout functionality or other parts of the website used by customers.
What happens if an update causes a problem?
Updates do not always go perfectly. A new plugin or theme version can occasionally cause a compatibility issue with another part of the website.
As part of the maintenance plan, we perform basic checks after routine updates. If a minor issue is directly related to the maintenance work, we will investigate it as part of the service.
If the problem requires extensive troubleshooting, custom development or repair work outside the scope of regular maintenance, we will explain the issue and let you know before any additional paid work is carried out.
A simple monthly service
Each WordPress website maintenance plan covers one WordPress installation.
WooCommerce and multilingual WordPress websites can also be maintained under the plan, provided they are part of the same WordPress installation.
One website per plan
There is no need to contact us every time WordPress or a plugin needs attention. Routine WordPress website maintenance is handled as part of the monthly plan, while larger changes and repairs remain separate and transparent.
